Since I grew up on the wonderful island of Madagascar, I have a predisposition for traveling, exploring, and adventure. As a former Military Officer, I developed a strong ability to adapt and improvise and later found a true passion for flying, photography, and exploring. Today, I am a Captain for a domestic airline in the Republic of Maldives and continue traveling and experiencing other cultures and countries which I am trying to share with my photography.
My Story
Our world is so vast but also so small. Today traveling is fast and easy and we have the incredible opportunity to see places our forefathers could only dream about. With my photography, I wish to bring the viewers to these wonderful places, meet these cultures, and maybe inspire them to walk in any explorer's footsteps.
I have had many cameras over the years from a Minolta X300 to a Canon 5D Miii. I have converted to mirrorless recently with the Sony A7 Mii and now the A7 R4a and a Sony A7 RC with the Sony lens range: 24-105mm G / 100-400mm GM / 35mm Zeiss / Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN Art / Sigma 20mm f2 and 2 vintage lenses: a Minolta MD Rokkor 50mm f1.4 for portraits & a Vivitar 50mm 1:1 for macro.
